Sanjay Mudnaney , Founder
Heroes of India project is the brainchild of Sanjay, the co-founder of Mastek Foundation. Sanjay has worked with a number of NGOs, social entrepreneurs, spent time meeting them, travelling with them and learning about them. He was inspired by their life and their stories . He built many innovations and brand properties around social good , fundraising that have sustained and grown over the years .

He is passionate about social causes, the cause of kindness to animals is close to his heart.

Sanjay is a storyteller, and a marketing leader having work across Organisations , Start-ups and Agency. He works as Brand and Communications consultant and is also the founder of Crow Tales a Brand Storytelling company for the Digital world.

Reshma Sharma , Co Founder
When you work for passion, work becomes joy. That’s what Reshma discovered when she started working with various corporates on their CSR communication initiatives. Soon, these became a part of her, and she volunteered with Hariyali, Mumbai.

She is a conscious promoter of eco-friendly products, bio-composting and waste segregation. She has addressed many large and small gatherings, even going door-to-door encouraging people to adapt to a low wastage, no plastic, home composting kind of lifestyle.

With a career in creative communications spanning more than 20 years, and an ardent film lover, she has embraced this project, and manages the production and creative teams.

Sonia Mackwani

Social Artist | Trainer – Teacher – Coach
Multiple award-winner Sonia Mackwani is a Psychic Healer and an Intuitive Channel.

Masters in Clinical Psychology and Hypnotherapy, she is also an Author, having written for children and adults; both fiction and non-fiction. At the young age of 21, she founded a non-profit organisation called Touching Lives serving with learning, healing and art/expression ofthe children and communities from the slums in Mumbai, India.

Sonia has received #100 Women Achiever of India Award (for Education) by Ministry of Women & Child Development 2015 by President of India. Awarded the World Women Leadership Award at the World Women Leadership Congress 2015 and emerged among the TOP 5 Mercedes Benz A Class Achievers 2014.She received Aga Khan Youth Award for Excellence in Leadership 2007 and Social Role. Model Award in 2009. She is one of CNBC Young Turks Transformer and an iCongo Karmavareer Puraskaar fellow.

Her recent short-film Space as a Director and Writer has won international accolades and screened in many film festivals including renowned Academy Award winning filmmaker Michael Moore’s Traverse City Film Festival, Michigan. She is an Assistant Director and a Co-Director (India section) on a global feature length award-winning documentary film Child of Nature, 2019 in Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival. Her recent short-film Collage based on quarantine story got into finals at Drishyam Films – Stay Home Short Film Contest 2020
